Webmarketing123 did a recent study to gain insight into how B2C and B2B companies were using digital marketing to grow their businesses, and how effective each of the digital channels were at generating leads and sales. The numbers come from the 2011 State of Digital Marketing Report, which was compiled by Webmarketing123, a California-based online marketing agency. The company surveyed more than 500 U.S. online marketers ( 33.1% B2C Marketers, 66.9% B2B Marketers) in August and September.

    Great article guys! SEO is clearly very important for businesses but it’s interesting to see that 60% of business will be increasing their Social Media budget in 2012.

    I’m also surprised to see more B2B businesses use Twitter than B2C. I wonder if we will see an increase in that going forward.
