A customer journey map is a diagram that illustrates the steps your customer goes through when engaging with your company – whether it be a product, an online experience, retail experience, or a service, or any combination the path to purchase is a vital part of understanding the user.
The infographic below is an analysis of the customer journey of a product or service across multiple channels. The channels are aligned based on which engage with the user best at each of the 4 phases of the funnel (awareness, consideration, intent, decision). Also, just to make it fun – and because not all industries are the same – we segmented the path to purchase over 11 different industry types as well. These include: automotive, business, local/classifieds, consumer packaging goods (CPG), education/government, finance, health, media, retail, technology, and travel.
